Ștefan Strilciuc, a public health expert, serves as the Executive Director of the RoNeuro Institute for Neurological Research and Diagnostic, and of the Society for the Study of Neuroprotection and Neuroplasticity. As a core member of the Romanian Health Observatory, a health systems research NGO, Strilciuc has delivered valuable contributions for evidence-based policy-making through comprehensive analyses of Romania’s healthcare system. In previous years, he has followed a multidisciplinary research track, focused on clinical research, experimental medicine and health systems, as an active faculty member at Babeș-Bolyai University (Department of Public Health) and “Iuliu Hațieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy (Department of Neurosciences) in Cluj-Napoca. He is currently pursuing a doctoral degree in medicine, on the topic of the burden of stroke in Romania.
