Marina Dascal is currently a research technician and a local project director in the Social and Behavioral Health Unit. She is working on two randomized controlled trials, one which is focused on smoking cessation using pregnancy as a window of opportunity (QUIT TOGETHER) and the other is a mHealth intervention to prevent smoking relapse after pregnancy (RESPREMO). Marina has a bachelor’s degree in public health, and she is studying for a master’s degree in Psychology of Public and Clinical Health. In 2018 Marina received an award for her performance in scientific research offered by the College for Advanced Performance Studies, Babes-Bolyai University.
